Session 25 Visual Recap – The Trial of Merchant’s Haven

Welcome to our session recap for session 25. I’d like these posts to serve as a nice visual guide to what we played through and experienced during our session. If you haven’t listened to the podcast yet, I recommend doing so before reading as this post will contain some spoilers. First up; the food!

Salmon! A delicious dish that I thought appropriate given that this session dealt with the introduction of Marshall Kain, governor of Annotata, one of the main ports of Minima. Where there are ships, there are fish. That was a good enough reason to break out this light, creamy, flavorful dish. Pairing it with some potatoes flavored with dill, salt and pepper and serving a lemon cake for dessert, this has been one of my favorite meals I’ve prepared in a long time and was a big hit with the crew. The full recipe can be found from Chef Jean Pierre. I’ve been using his recipes for the last two years and he never disappoints. The only difference is I added garlic to the sauce along with the shallots.
