Ever wanted to host a D&D gathering but didn’t know where to start, maybe we can remedy that

The year was 2018 and for the holidays, my brother-in-law gifted me the D&D Starter set. Maybe you’ve seen it (or one of the renditions of it) – a fierce dragon on the front, comes with a nice short player’s handbook, a DM screen with nifty info regarding statuses and really, and the Mines of Phandelver module. Everything you need to get started…or at least as it concerns with “playing” D&D.

But how do you start playing D&D with a bunch of people who’ve never played? How do you explain rules, and entertain someone when you yourself have never been apart of the experience? That single moment has led me down multiple roads, embracing new technologies, software, cookware, lighting, sound, writing, and so much research (not to mention lots of questions). Not only did I think it would be fun to catalogue my trials and tribulations, but I also wanted to bring our campaign(s) to you, dear reader as just another source of entertainment and example of ways to play (or not) D&D with your friends.

So, should it tickle your fancy, stay awhile and listen.
